Approval workflows

I taught myself Power Automate and Power Apps and built approval workflows. A request goes to the first approver, moves automatically to the next, and everyone gets notified along the way, with no emails chased by hand.

The “hot folder”

Teams kept sending Excel files that someone then loaded into reports by hand. I set up a shared folder: drop a file in, and Power BI picks it up and refreshes automatically. It removed a repetitive manual step for everyone.

Why I include it

This is where I first started thinking about how work flows: where it waits, where people copy things by hand, and where a machine could take over. That habit of mind is the basis for how I approach AI and automation today.
